China's CIFIT Holds Promotional Roadshows in Hong Kong and Macau

The 26th China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) organized promotional roadshows in Hong Kong and Macau on July 8-9, serving as a prelude to the main event in Xiamen this September. These events aimed to invite business communities from both regions to participate and highlighted China's commitment to high-level opening-up and two-way investment.

The CIFIT expo in Xiamen, scheduled for September 8-11, will span a record 200,000 square meters, making it the largest in the event's history. Close to 50 countries and regions, including Germany, Italy, Brazil, and South Korea, are expected to have country pavilions, signaling a broad international presence and reinforcing CIFIT's role in promoting global investment.

The forum program features sessions with prominent international organizations such as UNCTAD, UNIDO, and the WTO. UNCTAD will host the second Future Investment Conference, focusing on global investment in a changing world, while UNIDO will also hold its dedicated forum during the event.

Additionally, the fair will include a special session dedicated to Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. The Hong Kong government is organizing investment promotion activities emphasizing the city's role as a "super-connector" for investment. Macau will establish an 180-square-meter pavilion, with ChongWa (Macao) Financial Asset Exchange Co., Ltd. (MOX) participating as an exhibitor for the first time.

As the September gathering approaches, investors and business delegations worldwide are preparing to leverage CIFIT as a platform for forging partnerships and exploring opportunities within China's domestic market.
