China's Electric Vehicle Exports Saw 68.7% Rise in H1 2026
China exported 68.7% more electric vehicles in the first half of 2026 compared to the previous year. Exports of other green technology products also experienced significant growth.

China's electric vehicle exports surged by 68.7% year-on-year in the first half of 2026, according to customs data released on July 14.
The strong performance extended to other sectors of green technology and advanced manufacturing. Exports of electric motorcycles and bicycles increased by 31.5%, electric locomotives by 45.1%, lithium batteries by 37.6%, and wind turbines by 35.6%.
Further data indicated that shipments of AI-integrated intelligent bionic robots surpassed 10,000 units, reaching more than 90 countries and regions. Electronic components and computer parts also recorded double-digit export growth.
This expansion highlights China's growing role in the global electric vehicle market and its increasing competitiveness in advanced manufacturing sectors. The performance of these export categories contributes to China's economic growth and its position as a key supplier of technological goods.
