China's First 100,000-Card AI Supercluster Completed
China's first entirely domestically produced 100,000-card AI supercluster, "Shuguang 8000 (Dengfeng)", has been completed and connected to the national supercomputing internet. This marks a shift in AI infrastructure from ten thousand-card to hundred thousand-card scale.

Chinese tech news outlet IT Home reported on July 10 that IT company Zhongke Shuguang has announced the completion of the nation's first entirely domestically produced 100,000-card AI supercluster, named "Shuguang 8000 (Dengfeng)". The system is now operational and has been connected to the national supercomputing internet, signifying a transition in AI infrastructure deployment from the ten thousand-card to the hundred thousand-card scale.
The Shuguang 8000 (Dengfeng) utilizes a "Super Intelligence Fusion" technical route, designed to meet the combined demands of high-precision scientific computing and low-precision intelligent computing. It supports all precision levels from FP64 to INT8, making it suitable for various applications including scientific calculation, large model training, AI inference, and industrial simulation.
According to Zhongke Shuguang, the cluster possesses full-link, self-developed capabilities across its entire infrastructure, encompassing chips, computing, storage, networking, cooling, applications, and services. The report indicates that domestically produced chips, such as those from Haiguang, provide the underlying support. For high-speed connectivity, the system employs ScaleFabric-type native RDMA networks, capable of linking 100,000 cards. Data-intensive tasks like large model training and scientific computing are supported by the ParaStor distributed storage system.
In terms of cooling and deployment, the system uses immersion phase-change liquid cooling technology, enabling high power density deployment at the MW level per rack. Energy efficiency is further enhanced through the use of domestic refrigerants and year-round natural cooling. During the "Photosynthesis Organization 2026 Intelligent Computing Application Conference," Zhongke Shuguang also entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with the Beijing Institute for Scientific Intelligence to develop and construct a second set of a domestic hundred thousand-card intelligent computing system.
