China's First 100,000-Card AI Supercluster Unveiled

China's first domestically produced 100,000-accelerator-card AI supercluster has been unveiled. The system supports over 300 computing tasks across 26 fields.

18 October 2026

At the 2026 National High-Performance Computing Conference held in Shenzhen, China's first domestically produced 100,000-accelerator-card AI supercluster was presented. This significant computing infrastructure, completed this year, will enable ten major application results.

The supercluster's computing power is capable of supporting complex simulations, such as creating a digital twin of a brain or even modeling the evolution of a universe spanning billions of light-years. A key breakthrough of this system is its ability to integrate two fundamental computing paradigms—supercomputing and intelligent computing—on a single platform.

The technology merges scientific simulation, which relies on underlying physical laws, with AI-driven learning from data. This hybrid approach allows the system to perform both high-precision scientific calculations and the training and inference of large AI models on the same hardware base.

The supercluster is now operational and is supporting over 300 computing tasks across 26 different fields, including new material research, drug discovery, and artificial intelligence development. Its deployment marks a new phase in China's construction of 100,000-card scale computing infrastructure.
