China's Linyi Trade City launches international sourcing center

Linyi Trade City, a regional commodity hub in east China's Shandong Province, has opened an international sourcing center aimed at simplifying and boosting foreign trade. The new center gathers over 300 companies under one roof, offering a wide array of local products ranging from construction materials and machinery to home goods.

The facility is designed to provide a one-stop shopping experience for international purchasers, enabling them to efficiently find and procure goods. Each tenant company is linked to an average of ten upstream manufacturers, ensuring substantial product diversity. Services offered include assistance with customs declarations, booking shipments, and overseas delivery.

Linyi Trade City, known for its clustered wholesale markets, anticipates the new center will help local businesses access global markets. The center welcomed over 100 foreign buyers on its opening day in late September.

The initiative also aims to reduce foreign trade costs by approximately 20 percent through an integrated logistics park and a cross-border e-commerce ecosystem. Additional services, such as international hotel accommodations and multilingual support, are available to ensure the comfort of global merchants.
