Sina Finance reported this as the first instance of a Chinese open model entering OpenAI's enterprise billing system. The arrangement enables customers to deploy Kimi K3 within their current procurement agreements, eliminating the need for separate supplier contracts.
Baseten provides the underlying model inference capabilities, while OpenAI's Codex serves as the developer interface for accessing the model. This collaboration aims to streamline the adoption of AI models for businesses already utilizing OpenAI's ecosystem.
