Chinese spatial intelligence firm TechNode launched Lux3D on August 27, a tool designed to generate 3D assets from text descriptions or images. The company also announced the commencement of testing for a next-generation world-model product.

The Lux3D tool features a Turbo Mode that can reportedly generate 3D models in approximately 20 seconds. TechNode has also made API access available, allowing for batch generation through its Harness Mode. This feature is intended for workflows across various sectors, including e-commerce, industrial design, gaming, XR, and simulation.

In addition to Lux3D, TechNode stated it is testing a model that integrates Lux3D with its SpatialGen technology to create interactive 3D environments. This development aims to enhance the creation of dynamic virtual spaces.

The company reported significant financial growth, with revenue from its new AI applications and products increasing by 177% year-over-year in the first half of the year. Adjusted net profit saw a substantial rise of 211%, reaching RMB 55.42 million. TechNode indicated these results underscore its growing presence in the spatial AI market.
