Chinese Makers Dominate Global Humanoid Robot Shipments

Chinese manufacturers dominated the global humanoid robot market in the first half of 2026, accounting for more than 97% of all shipments. Total global deliveries reached approximately 19,100 units, a substantial increase from around 5,100 units during the same period last year.

AgiBot emerged as the leading supplier, shipping an estimated 8,400 units, which represents 44% of the global total. Unitree followed, with approximately 5,900 units delivered.

Industrial and commercial applications constituted over 70% of these shipments, up from about 50% a year earlier. This shift highlights a growing adoption of humanoid robots in business operations.

Projections indicate continued strong growth for the sector. The market is expected to reach 60,000 shipments for the full year 2026. By 2030, the market is forecast to handle 500,000 shipments annually, signaling significant future expansion.
