Chinese Monster-Catching RPG Aniimo Launches on PC September 16
Chinese multiplayer online RPG Aniimo has opened for pre-download. The PC version is set to launch on September 16, with the mobile version following on September 23.
The Chinese multiplayer online RPG Aniimo (伊莫), focused on creature catching, has begun pre-download availability. The PC version is scheduled for a full launch on September 16, followed by the mobile version on September 23. Aniimo is developed by Hangzhou Pawprint Studio and published by FunPlus's Shanghai Qule Tang Network Technology Co., Ltd.
Aniimo is a free-to-play online game designed for cross-platform play, supporting consoles like PlayStation and Xbox, PC platforms such as Steam and Epic Games Store, and mobile devices. A key feature is the synchronization of player data across all supported platforms.
The game is set on the vast continent of Edaar, where players take on the role of "Connectors." They will encounter and bond with various magical creatures known as "Aniimos." The game introduces a unique "Connect" mechanic, allowing players to merge with their Aniimos to inherit abilities such as flying, diving, or burrowing. This enables exploration, puzzle-solving, and real-time combat from the perspective of the creatures.
Additionally, Aniimo features cooperative multiplayer modes, an ecosystem of Aniimos that respond to day/night cycles and weather changes, and a "R.V. Campsite" housing system.
