Chinese Teams Eliminated from Valorant Global Championship

Four Chinese teams from the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) CN league have been eliminated from the 2026 Valorant Global Championship held in Shanghai. JDG, EDG, TYL, and XLG failed to secure a single match victory during the initial group stage phase of the competition.

The teams finished in a shared 13th-16th place, not advancing past the first round of the losers' bracket. Their overall map score across all matches was a mere 2-16, with some instances of being shut out (0-12) in a single half.

The tournament is taking place in Shanghai, China. The early exit marks a disappointing performance for the VCT CN representatives in the global esports event, which features top-tier Valorant teams worldwide.
