Chord acquires Zenlytic to expand enterprise AI data platform
Data analytics firm Chord has acquired business intelligence provider Zenlytic to expand its enterprise market reach. The deal doubles the firm's revenue and adds major clients such as Verizon and Domino's.
Chord, an AI-native data platform, has acquired Zenlytic in a strategic move to address the complexities of deploying AI across large enterprises. The acquisition allows Chord to move beyond commerce-specific applications to broader business intelligence, enabling clients to utilize AI agents that adhere to internal data definitions and financial contexts.
Chord CEO Bryan Mahoney stated that the integration aims to provide companies with infrastructure that keeps business context secure and updated, preventing reliance on third-party model providers for internal knowledge. This approach is intended to mitigate risks associated with conflicting data outputs when scaling AI across diverse business functions.
By incorporating Zenlytic’s technology and team, Chord is scaling its operations significantly. The company, which was founded in 2021, now manages a client portfolio that features major organizations including Verizon, J.Crew, Domino's, and Stanley Black & Decker.
