CHOSA Receives 94 Tumor Samples from US for Platin-DRP® Lung Cancer Test Validation
CHOSA Oncology AB has received 94 tumor biopsy samples from Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. The samples will be used to validate Platin-DRP®, a test designed to identify lung cancer patients likely to benefit from specific chemotherapy.

CHOSA Oncology AB announced on October 8th, 2026, that it has received 94 tumor biopsy samples from Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. These samples are part of an ongoing research collaboration aimed at evaluating the ability of Platin-DRP® to identify patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) most likely to benefit from platinum-based chemotherapy combined with immunotherapy.
The samples represent patients treated with platinum chemotherapy in combination with PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors, such as Keytruda and Opdivo. RNA analysis of the tumor samples will be conducted by CHOSA’s laboratory partner.
Platin-DRP® is a diagnostic test developed by CHOSA based on RNA analysis. It aims to predict a patient's response to platinum-based cancer therapies. This study is a critical step in validating the test's reliability for lung cancer patients.
Successful validation could improve treatment decision-making and help target platinum-based therapies more effectively to patients who stand to gain the most. CHOSA seeks to advance more precise cancer diagnostics and personalized medicine.
