Chris Moneymaker, the 2003 Main Event champion, was eliminated on the money bubble of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event yesterday. His exit occurred simultaneously with two other players, marking the end of his run in the prestigious tournament.
Moneymaker was officially credited with 1,382nd place and received a $10,000 payout. Meanwhile, Alex Foxen, a professional player for Americas Cardroom, and ambassador Martin Zamani successfully advanced to Day 5 of the event.
Foxen concluded Day 4 with 1,695,000 chips, approximately 85 big blinds, while Zamani moved forward with 545,000 chips, around 27 big blinds. Play is set to resume with blinds at 10,000/20,000.
Foxen has already secured significant results in this series, including his fourth career WSOP bracelet. Zamani has reached three final tables in the series, finishing fourth in each. Both players remain in contention for the WSOP Main Event title as play continues.
