Otto Christ AG has launched the Protect Shine Xpress concept, offering premium wax application for car wash operators. The new system aims to enhance vehicle shine and provide long-lasting protection, enabling higher pricing.
Otto Christ AG, a German manufacturer of car wash equipment, has introduced its new Protect Shine Xpress concept for use in portal car wash systems.
The system integrates a specially developed wax, a dedicated program cycle, and marketing materials. According to Christ AG, Protect Shine Xpress offers customers long-lasting protection, a "repair effect," and a "diamond gloss" finish for vehicle paintwork. The company suggests that the visible benefits provided by the product allow car wash operators to increase their service prices.
The Protect Shine wax is designed to smooth the vehicle's paint surface, improving light reflection and enhancing overall shine. Regular applications are said to build a stronger protective layer on the paint.
The concept can be integrated with Christ AG's Vitesse option, which utilizes specialized fan nozzles for a high-volume foam wax application. This combination reportedly enables a full wash cycle, including the Protect Shine treatment, in approximately six minutes, boosting capacity by up to 40% compared to competing systems. A comprehensive marketing package is included to assist operators in promoting the new premium offering.
