Christian Brothers Automotive Expands to 31st State, Secures New Franchise Awards
Automotive repair franchise Christian Brothers Automotive reported mid-year 2026 growth, including expansion into its 31st state and 14 new franchise awards. The company is also investing in a new training center.

Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA), an automotive repair franchise, has reported significant development momentum at the midpoint of 2026. The company issued 14 new franchise awards, with 339 locations now open and 96 more in development. The addition of a 31st state and key franchisee milestones are reinforcing the brand's position in automotive care.
During the first half of 2026, CBA awarded franchise agreements across several states, including new locations in Texas, South Carolina, Florida, Louisiana, Indiana, Kansas, Arizona, Georgia, and Ohio. Notably, two awards went to graduates of CBA's Future Franchise Leadership Academy (FFLA), indicating the program's effectiveness in developing new owners.
Geographically, 2026 has marked substantial expansion for CBA. A new location in Cheyenne, Wyoming, signifies the brand's entry into its 31st state, with entry into Nevada planned soon. Complementing its growth, CBA has initiated the construction of the Mark A. Carr Technology & Training Center in Katy, Texas. This $12 million, nearly 14,000-square-foot facility is expected to open in early 2027 and will focus on comprehensive technician training, including areas like electric and hybrid vehicles.
CBA's mid-year success also includes industry recognition. In 2026, the brand received three distinctions from Franchise Business Review: Top Franchises for Culture, Top Franchises for Women, and the Satisfaction Award, all based on franchisee feedback. Furthermore, CBA launched Trust Builders, an initiative aimed at enhancing the digital inspection experience for customers, promoting transparency in vehicle maintenance decisions.
