Church’s 'Dedicate' series reaches two million views

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ 'Dedicate' series has surpassed two million views on YouTube. The fifth episode premiered at an event at the Missionary Training Center in Manila, Philippines, alongside watch parties held in congregations across the country.

The series profiles seven young adults from diverse global locations—including Brazil, Japan, Ghana, and the United States—as they tour the Salt Lake Temple during its ongoing restoration. The historic building, which has been closed for renovations since 2019, is scheduled to reopen for public tours from April 5 through October 1, 2027.

Throughout the episodes, participants engage in discussions with Church leaders regarding faith and spiritual identity. Emie Alvez, a participant from Manila, noted during the premiere that the temple serves as a source of stability for young adults navigating current uncertainties.

The series acts as a precursor to the 2027 global celebration surrounding the temple’s reopening. Production staff and participants aim to provide insight into the significance of these structures within the faith before the site welcomes visitors next year.
