Cielo Waste Solutions Corp. has officially changed its name to Esker Infrastructure Corp. The rebranding signifies the company's strategic shift from technology development to project development in low-carbon energy infrastructure.
CALGARY, Alberta – Esker Infrastructure Corp., formerly known as Cielo Waste Solutions Corp., announced its completion of a corporate name change. The transition, effective September 25, 2026, marks the final step in the company's strategic repositioning from a technology developer to a project development entity focused on low-carbon energy infrastructure.
The company's shares are expected to commence trading under the new name and ticker symbol "ESKR" on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) and "ESKRF" on the OTCQB market starting October 2, 2026. The company's previously issued share purchase warrants will also trade under the new symbol "ESKR.WT" on the same date.
According to CEO Ryan C. Jackson, the name "Esker" reflects the company's strategy to originate, structure, and finance durable, long-term, low-carbon energy infrastructure projects. This strategic realignment has been underway for the past year, involving executive and board changes and a disciplined project development process.
Esker Infrastructure's inaugural project, Project Nahoonai, is planned for British Columbia and aims to convert waste into fuel using proven third-party technologies. The company stated that the name change does not alter its business operations or share capital, and shareholders are not required to take any action.
Esker Infrastructure Corp. focuses on developing sustainable aviation fuel and other low-carbon energy projects, leveraging feedstock partnerships and established technologies to build a pipeline of waste-to-fuels initiatives.
