Cision News Corrects Statement on ASIC Ultra Boost Patent
Cision News has corrected a previous announcement regarding the approval of its ASIC Ultra Boost patent application in the United States. The patent has not yet been officially granted.

Cision News has issued a correction to a prior announcement concerning the status of its ASIC Ultra Boost patent application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The company clarified that while the application has received formal approval, certain formalities remain before the patent is officially granted.
The original announcement, released on September 2, 2026, contained an inaccuracy regarding the patent's issuance. Cision News has now specified that despite the USPTO's approval of the patent application, the official grant is pending the completion of outstanding procedural steps.
Despite the remaining formalities, the company anticipates the patent will be issued. The patent application for the ASIC Ultra Boost technology was initially filed on July 27, 2026.
This correction supersedes an earlier announcement made at 07:00 on September 2, 2026, which had included a comment about the ASIC Ultra Boost patent being made market-ready.
