Cision News: Net Sales Decline 1%, Operating Profit Increases Significantly
PR and media intelligence firm Cision News reported its second-quarter financial results for 2026. Net sales saw a slight decrease of 1 percent, while operating profit saw a substantial rise.

Cision News, a provider of media intelligence and PR software, has announced its financial performance for the second quarter of 2026. The company’s net sales decreased by 1% to SEK 1,498 million, down from SEK 1,513 million in the same period last year.
Operating profit showed a considerable improvement, rising to SEK 70 million from SEK 8 million in the prior-year period. Adjusted operating profit also increased substantially to SEK 128 million, and the adjusted gross margin improved to 39.8%.
The company recorded items affecting comparability (IAC) totaling SEK -58 million. These costs were primarily related to the transfer of production facilities in Sweden and restructuring expenses.
Profit after tax for the period amounted to SEK 4 million, a significant recovery from a loss of SEK -103 million recorded in the second quarter of the previous year.
