Cision News: Order Backlog Grows, Net Sales Decline in H1 2026
Cision News reported an order backlog of SEK 22.4 billion and net sales of SEK 6.5 billion in Q2 2026. Net sales decreased by 2.4 percent year-on-year.

Cision News reported continued progress in project acquisition but a still-developing profitability uplift in its interim financial results for the first six months of 2026.
During the second quarter of 2026, the company's order backlog increased to SEK 22.4 billion from SEK 20.7 billion in the prior year period. However, net sales saw a decrease of 2.4 percent, reaching SEK 6,511 million compared to SEK 6,674 million in the second quarter of 2025. Organic growth, adjusted for calendar effects, stood at -5.3 percent.
Calendar effects had a negative impact of SEK 35 million on net sales and SEK 27 million on earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization (EBITA). The utilization rate saw a slight increase, moving from 72.6 percent to 73.5 percent.
EBITA, excluding items affecting comparability, amounted to SEK 434 million, a slight decrease from SEK 438 million in the same period last year. The corresponding EBITA margin was 6.7 percent, an improvement from the previous year's 6.6 percent.
