Cision News, a provider of communication and media intelligence, has announced its financial results for the second quarter, indicating a substantial increase in revenue and growth.

Net sales for the period of April to June rose by 13% to SEK 985 million (approximately $94 million USD), compared to SEK 874 million in the same period last year. The company reported an organic growth rate of 12%, a significant improvement from the 3% recorded in the prior year's second quarter. Cision News attributed this growth to gradually increasing market activity across all its segments, with a particularly strong performance towards the end of the quarter.

The adjusted earnings before interest and taxes (Adjusted EBIT) increased to SEK 44 million from SEK 38 million, resulting in an adjusted EBIT margin of 4.5%. Cash flow from operating activities also saw a substantial rise, reaching SEK 128 million, up from SEK 99 million in the previous year's second quarter.

Earnings per share for the period before and after dilution were SEK 0.19, down from SEK 0.33 in the comparable period last year. The company stated that market activity had been gradually increasing, contributing to the positive growth trend observed in the quarter.
