Cision News today published its half-year report, revealing a Bitcoin yield of 3.4% for the second quarter. The company's Bitcoin holdings increased to 172.0 BTC as of the report's end, up from 166.3 BTC on March 31. This expansion was financed through preference share capital, without issuing new Class B shares.
The report also indicated an operating loss of MSEK -41.7, with MSEK -39.9 attributed to an unrealized revaluation of the Bitcoin holdings. Approximately MSEK 12 was raised in a rights issue during the period.
Significantly, Cision News listed BTC PREF on the Spotlight Stock Market on July 20, marking Europe's first listed Bitcoin-backed preference share. Further strengthening its financial position, the company announced on July 28 the full repayment of a loan from its custodian institution, resulting in a debt-free status.
The company's yield since its listing in July 2025 has reached 7.3%. The reporting period highlights a strategic shift towards asset accumulation and strengthening the balance sheet.
