Cision News Reports Q2 2026 Sales Growth, Slight Profit Decline
Cision News reported its second quarter 2026 results, showing net sales increased 2.6% to SEK 35,061m. However, organic growth was modest at 0.3%.

Cision News released its second quarter 2026 interim report on Thursday, revealing net sales increased by 2.6% to SEK 35,061 million. The company reported organic sales growth of 0.3% for the period.
Volume contributed 1.4% to the organic growth, while price and mix effects resulted in a -1.1% impact. The reported EBITA stood at SEK 4,105 million, an 11% decrease year-over-year. Excluding acquired intangible assets (IAC), EBITA was SEK 4,685 million, nearly flat compared to the previous year.
The EBITA margin, excluding IAC, decreased by 0.3 percentage points to 13.4%. Profit for the period declined by 11.8% to SEK 2,693 million, with earnings per share at SEK 3.94, down from SEK 4.39 in the prior year.
The company described the external operating environment as volatile. Despite this, Cision News highlighted its ability to maintain higher volumes and resilient profitability. Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) was reported at 14.0%, a decrease from 16.7% in the same period last year.
