Cision has reported a decline in both net sales and earnings for the first six months of 2026. The company's net sales for the period January–June 2026 amounted to SEK 9,893 million, a 6% decrease from SEK 10,541 million in the corresponding period of 2025.

The reduction in net sales was primarily attributed to lower selling prices and negative currency exchange effects, though these were partly offset by higher delivery volumes. The company's EBITDA also saw a significant drop, decreasing by 35% to SEK 2,410 million from SEK 3,684 million in the first half of 2025.

EBITDA margin contracted to 24.4% from 34.9% year-over-year. The company noted that higher raw material costs contributed to the decreased earnings. However, Cision stated that a high rate of self-sufficiency in wood raw material, fuel, energy, and logistics helped mitigate the impact of these increased costs.
