Claros Technologies Raises $55 Million in Series B Funding
Claros Technologies has secured $55 million in a Series B funding round to accelerate the global rollout of its PFAS decomposition technology. The capital will support product commercialization and laboratory expansion.

Claros Technologies, a company focused on environmental solutions, announced it has raised $55 million in a Series B financing round. The funds are earmarked to advance the global market introduction of its proprietary PFAS decomposition technology.
The company plans to utilize the capital to meet rapidly growing commercial demand and to support the expansion of its mobile laboratory services, ClarosLabs™. This move follows on from what the company describes as breakthrough results in remediating PFAS-contaminated groundwater. PFAS, or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, are a class of man-made chemicals that have raised environmental and health concerns due to their persistence.
Claros Technologies aims to use the funding to scale its operations and address the increasing need for effective solutions to manage PFAS contamination. The company's technology, ClarosTechUV™, employs ultraviolet light to break down PFAS compounds. Demonstrations have reportedly shown the technology's efficacy in various contaminated water sources, paving the way for commercial deployment.
Part of the investment will also go towards expanding the capacity of ClarosLabs™. These mobile labs allow for on-site analysis and assessment, which is critical for remediation projects. The expansion is expected to enhance the company's ability to serve clients internationally as it scales its technology.
