Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against Duolingo, Inc.
Rosen Law Firm has filed a class action lawsuit against Duolingo, Inc. alleging securities fraud. The suit covers purchases of Class A common stock between May 2, 2025, and February 26, 2026.

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Duolingo, Inc. by the Rosen Law Firm, a global investor rights law firm. The suit alleges that the company made materially false and misleading statements and failed to disclose crucial information regarding its business and operations. The class period for purchasers of Duolingo Class A common stock is from May 2, 2025, to February 26, 2026, inclusive.
According to the lawsuit, Duolingo allegedly leveraged daily active user (DAU) growth rates against increased user friction, including a significant rise in ad volume, subscription tier upsells, and worsened product quality. The complaint asserts that the company was aware that increased friction would negatively impact DAU growth and that its A/B testing demonstrated these negative effects. Furthermore, the lawsuit claims that Duolingo's quickly generated AI content degraded product quality, harming the user experience and threatening financial performance.
Rosen Law Firm, specializing in securities class actions, is encouraging investors who purchased Duolingo stock during the specified period to participate. The firm states that eligible investors may be entitled to compensation without out-of-pocket fees through a contingency fee arrangement. To serve as lead plaintiff, interested parties must file a motion with the court by December 7, 2026.
No class has yet been certified in the action. Investors are not required to retain counsel or join the class to share in any potential future recovery. They may also choose to remain an absent class member. Information regarding joining the class action is available on the Rosen Law Firm website.
