Law firm Fine, Kaplan and Black, R.P.C. announced that four settlements have been finally approved in the class action lawsuit "In re Generic Pharmaceuticals Antitrust Litigation" (Case No. 16-MD-2724).

The settlements allow consumers and third parties who paid for or were reimbursed for specific prescription generic drugs in the United States between May 1, 2009, and December 31, 2019, to now submit claims. The lawsuits alleged that generic drug manufacturers violated antitrust and consumer protection laws, leading to overcharges.

The settlements involve Sandoz Inc., Fougera Pharmaceuticals Inc., Apotex Corp., Heritage Pharmaceuticals Inc., Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Satish Mehta, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Inc., and Taro Pharmaceuticals U.S.A., Inc. Collectively, these entities will pay over $500 million in settlements.

Claims must be filed by November 9, 2026. The amount of compensation will depend on the number of claims filed and the documented expenses for the drugs. More information and claim forms are available at www.GenericDrugsEndPayerSettlement.com.
