CleanSpark Closes $2.276 Billion Debt Offering and Reports September Mining Data

Las Vegas, NV โ€“ October 9, 2026 โ€“ Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark announced today the closing of its $2.276 billion aggregate principal amount of senior secured notes. The company also released its operational update for Bitcoin mining for the month of September 2026.

The notes, carrying a 7.875% interest rate and maturing in 2031, are intended to fund the company's data center build-out. CleanSpark stated that the associated lease is expected to generate approximately $6.6 billion in contracted revenue over its initial term.

"With non-dilutive bond financing now in place, our Sandersville project is fully funded through completion. This represents an important milestone for CleanSpark and reflects the confidence of the institutional capital markets in our strategy and long-term opportunity," said CEO Matt Schultz. "We are continuing the commercial process across our entire portfolio and delivering continuous monetization of our contracted power through bitcoin mining."

In September, CleanSpark produced 529 Bitcoin. The operational hashrate for its fleet was 50 EH/s, with an efficiency of 16.07 J/Th. The company's total Bitcoin holdings stood at 13,530 as of September 30. CleanSpark also indicated it will discontinue monthly operational updates and transition to standard quarterly reporting.
