Clinic management startup Docterz raises 50 million rupees
Healthtech startup Docterz has raised 50 million rupees, with a significant portion of the investment coming from doctors currently using its platform.

Mumbai-based healthtech startup Docterz has secured 50 million rupees from a group of 35 investors. Approximately 60% of the funding was provided by doctors who already utilize the platform, with additional participation from investors including Vineeta Singh and Avnish Anand. The company, founded by pediatrician Dr. Atish Laddad, provides electronic medical records and management software for clinics.
Docterz aims to automate administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, and medical inventory management. By streamlining these workflows, the company seeks to reduce operational burdens on independent practitioners. Future plans include the integration of AI-powered tools designed to assist in documentation and data analysis based on clinical prescription patterns.
The fresh capital is earmarked for organic growth, potential acquisitions, and expansion into a larger number of independent clinics across India. Furthermore, the startup intends to strengthen its compatibility with India’s Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
Despite positive feedback from its user base, the company faces the challenge of converting trust into broader market adoption. Scaling will require the platform to prove its long-term operational efficiency as it encourages more clinics to migrate their legacy records to the digital system.
