Cloudflare Launches Drop for Zero-Friction Static Website Deployment
Cloudflare has introduced Drop, a tool for deploying static websites without account registration. Users can drag and drop files to instantly generate a shareable preview link hosted on Cloudflare's network.

Cloudflare has launched a new tool called Cloudflare Drop, designed to simplify the temporary deployment of static websites. This service allows users to deploy websites using a drag-and-drop interface directly in their web browser, eliminating the need for account creation.
Users can upload local files, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, and fonts, or a ZIP archive of their static resources. Within seconds, Cloudflare Drop generates a temporary, shareable preview link for the website, hosted on Cloudflare's global network.
The tool is intended for quick testing and sharing purposes. Each temporary website created via Cloudflare Drop is valid for one hour. During this period, users can test the site or share the preview link with colleagues or clients. For permanent hosting, users can choose to "claim" the site by logging into or creating a Cloudflare account.
Once claimed, users gain access to features such as custom domain mapping, performance monitoring, and access control settings. Cloudflare Drop offers developers a convenient option for rapidly prototyping and sharing static content without complex deployment procedures.
