Irving, Texas – Construction materials company CMC has officially been certified as a Great Place to Work in the United States, Poland, and China. The certification was awarded by the global organization Great Place To Work®, which evaluates workplace culture and employee experience through employee surveys.
According to the company, 82% of CMC employees reported that the company is a great place to work, a figure significantly higher than the 57% reported at a typical U.S.-based company.
CMC President and CEO Peter Matt stated that the recognition is meaningful as it reflects employee feedback. He emphasized the role employees play in shaping the company culture and the team's commitment to each other, customers, and their work.
CMC employs over 13,000 people worldwide. With a history spanning over 110 years, the company specializes in steel reinforcing bar, subgrade soil stabilization and foundation enhancement solutions, and concrete pipe. CMC's products are utilized in infrastructure, non-residential, residential, industrial, and energy market projects.
