CO-NELE Integrates Mixing and Granulation for Iron Powder Production
QINGDAO CO-NELE MACHINERY introduces an integrated mixer-granulator for iron powder production. The new machine offers a single-step process, reducing costs and improving efficiency compared to traditional methods.

QINGDAO CO-NELE MACHINERY CO., LTD. has launched an integrated mixer-granulator designed for iron powder production. This development addresses limitations in traditional spray and extrusion granulation methods that hinder production efficiency and increase costs.
Conventional extrusion granulation requires a separate mixing step before granulation, leading to higher equipment investment and larger factory footprints. Spray granulation is characterized by high energy consumption and low hourly output, resulting in elevated long-term production expenses for powder metallurgy factories.
The CO-NELE integrated mixer-granulator combines mixing and granulation into a single operation. Iron powder, binders, and solvents are added directly into the machine, and finished granules are discharged in approximately 25 minutes without intermediate material transfer. This one-step process significantly reduces capital expenditure and the need for extensive factory floor space.
The equipment is available in various models, from laboratory-scale testing to mass production, suitable for manufacturing soft-magnetic components and powder metallurgy materials. Many overseas manufacturers are transitioning to this integrated solution to achieve energy savings and improve finished product quality.
