Co-Nele Introduces Lithium Carbonate Pelletizer with 12-Minute Cycle
Qingdao Co-Nele Machinery Co., Ltd. has launched a new lithium carbonate pelletizer designed to complete granulation in 12 minutes per batch. The equipment is intended for processing battery-grade lithium carbonate powder.

Qingdao Co-Nele Machinery Co., Ltd. has announced the development of a new lithium carbonate pelletizer, reportedly capable of finishing a granulation cycle in 12 minutes. This new equipment is designed for the processing of battery-grade lithium carbonate powder, integrating mixing and granulation into a single step.
The company states that the pelletizer aims to improve efficiency and product quality by addressing common issues with lithium carbonate powder, such as poor fluidity, dusting, and inconsistent particle size. The equipment produces spherical granules within the 10-20 mesh range, with a stated sphericity of 92% or higher.
Constructed with 316L stainless steel or PU lining, the machine is designed to prevent metal contamination, meeting the purity standards required for battery materials. Its closed negative pressure design is intended to ensure dust-free operation, making it suitable for cleanroom environments adhering to GMP standards.
Co-Nele indicates that the pelletizer can be integrated with subsequent production processes like screening, drying, and sintering. This is positioned as a solution for manufacturers in the new energy sector, particularly those involved in producing cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries.
