Coda and TikTok Gaming report 1 billion views for content-to-commerce partnership

Digital monetization firm Coda has reported that its collaboration with TikTok Gaming has driven 1 billion views since launching in mid-June 2026. The integration allows creators in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines to include direct links to Codashop within their game-related content, enabling viewers to purchase currency, gift cards, and other digital goods without leaving the social platform.

Data from the first few months of the rollout indicates a click-through rate of over 5%, with approximately 5% of those clicks resulting in a transaction. According to Coda, a significant portion of these buyers are new to the platform, suggesting that creator-led commerce effectively expands the customer base for game publishers.

Zac Liew, Chief Commercial Officer for B2B at Coda, noted that the model aligns with a broader trend where consumer discovery and purchasing occur within the same digital environment. By embedding distribution directly into social content, publishers can shorten the path from initial interest to final transaction.

This initiative reflects a shift in how content is distributed, moving away from centralized storefronts toward diverse, channel-based commerce. Coda intends to continue exploring similar models to bridge the gap between audience engagement and revenue generation for its publishing partners.
