Cohen & Steers Infrastructure Fund Notifies of Distribution Sources
Cohen & Steers Infrastructure Fund (NYSE: UTF) has provided details on the sources of its upcoming September 30, 2026 distribution and year-to-date distributions, which are primarily composed of long-term capital gains.
Cohen & Steers Infrastructure Fund (NYSE: UTF) has issued a notification detailing the sources of its distribution scheduled for September 30, 2026, along with cumulative distributions for the fiscal year to date.
Since March 2015, the Fund has operated under a managed distribution policy, designed to realize the Fund's long-term total return potential through regular monthly distributions at a fixed rate per common share. This policy allows for greater flexibility in realizing long-term capital gains throughout the year and distributing them regularly to shareholders.
The distributions may comprise long-term capital gains, short-term capital gains, net investment income, and/or return of capital. Return of capital reduces a shareholder's cost basis and is not taxable. The Fund emphasizes that these reported amounts are estimates and may be subject to change as final tax characteristics are determined at year-end.
As of August 31, 2026, the Fund's year-to-date cumulative total return was 12.26%, with a cumulative distribution rate of 5.31%. The average annual total return for the five-year period ending August 31, 2026, stood at 7.81%.
