Colson Group Acquires Algood Caster Innovations, Expanding North American Manufacturing
Colson Group has acquired Algood Caster Innovations, a North American manufacturer of industrial and specialty casters and wheels. The acquisition expands Colson's manufacturing capabilities and expertise in the region.
ST. JOSEPH, Mich. – Colson Group, a provider of mobility solutions, announced it has acquired Algood Caster Innovations, a North American manufacturer of industrial and specialty casters, wheels, and mobility solutions.
Founded in 1969 and operating from the Toronto area, Algood brings over five decades of caster and wheel expertise, along with an integrated manufacturing operation. The company's capabilities include engineering and design, tool and die, metal stamping, injection molding, CNC machining, robotic welding, and quality assurance, allowing for in-house product development from concept to production.
