Columbia Grain International Supports Pacific Northwest Food Security Efforts

Columbia Grain International (CGI) has contributed to Hunger Action Month in the Pacific Northwest by supporting local food security initiatives. The company donated 2,200 pounds (approximately 998 kg) of food and helped prepare around 7,000 meals for individuals and families relying on food assistance.

The efforts took place during September as part of the company's mission to "Feed the World." CGI employees participated in volunteer activities at local food banks and organizations involved in distributing aid.

The campaign aimed to raise awareness about food scarcity and bolster regional food security networks facing increasing demands. The donations and meal preparations were directed to vulnerable communities within the Pacific Northwest.

CGI, established in July 2026, operates in the origination and marketing of grain. The company stated its commitment to supporting food security and agricultural development.
