ComeOn Group Secures Finnish Gambling Licences

ComeOn Group, a subsidiary of European Entertainment Group, has been awarded all requested gambling licences by the Finnish National Police Board. The approval grants the group authorization to provide online casino and sports betting services once Finland transitions from its current state monopoly to a competitive licensing model on July 1, 2027.

The group filed its applications on March 2, 2026, the first day of the application window. This early approval positions the company among the initial group of operators cleared to function under Finland's updated gambling legislation.

European Entertainment Group CEO Itai Frieberger characterized the licensing as a milestone resulting from the team’s preparation for the new regulatory framework. CFO Raffaele Amodio added that operating within a regulated market is a primary component of the group's strategy for long-term revenue growth.

Finland’s regulatory overhaul is part of a broader European trend toward enhanced oversight and standardized compliance requirements. By securing credentials well ahead of the 2027 launch, ComeOn Group has established a framework for deploying its services within the newly formalized market environment.
