CommunicAsia, EnterpriseIT and BroadcastAsia Announce Refreshed Conference Format
The annual CommunicAsia, EnterpriseIT, and BroadcastAsia events in Singapore will feature a new conference format with joint visionary addresses and cross-industry C-level panel discussions.
The upcoming CommunicAsia, EnterpriseIT, and BroadcastAsia events, scheduled for June 18-21, 2013, at Marina Bay Sands Singapore, will introduce a revamped conference format. This includes a joint visionary address and a cross-industry C-level panel discussion that spans the ICT, broadcasting, pro-audio, film, and TV sectors.
Over 210 global thought leaders are expected to participate, offering insights into the dissolving boundaries within the communications field. For the first time, delegates from both the CommunicAsia2013 Summit and BroadcastAsia2013 International Conference will attend a two-part visionary address on June 19. This session features a Governmental Visionary Address by The Hon. Gordon Rich-Phillips, Minister for Technology, State Government of Victoria, Australia, focusing on the government's ICT strategy, followed by an Industry Visionary Address by Karim Temsamani, Head of Asia Pacific for Google, discussing the influence of Asian consumers on the internet's direction.
Temsamani highlights Asia's pivotal role in shaping the internet's future, noting its rapid digitalization and the projected influx of new users from the region. He emphasizes the need to look beyond devices to understand how Asians are transforming businesses, societies, and cultures online in novel ways.
Cross-industry collaboration will also be a key focus. With the strengthening links between broadcast and telecom technologies, CommunicAsia2013 Summit and BroadcastAsia2013 International Conference are co-hosting a 'Thought-Leaders Panel' discussion. This panel will bring together telco operators like MEASAT and broadcast companies such as Media Prima Berhad to identify collaboration opportunities. Organizers state that these joint sessions aim to encourage industry experts, service providers, and content creators to develop strategies that maximize reach and business value.
The CommunicAsia2013 Summit program has been updated with a focus on the future 'empowered customer.' It will feature eight key tracks and two interactive workshops, addressing the rapidly growing consumer demand for mobile data and services. More than 110 speakers are set to share perspectives on the importance of customer understanding for businesses aiming to deliver superior experiences.
