Compal showcases NVIDIA AI factory infrastructure at OCP Global Summit

Compal Electronics showcased its next-generation AI factory infrastructure at the OCP Global Summit 2026 in San Jose, California. The company demonstrated how power supply, cooling, computing power, and rack-scale engineering must evolve together to meet the growing demands of NVIDIA's accelerated computing.

As AI data centers reach unprecedented compute density and energy requirements in the megawatt range, Compal is focused on addressing infrastructure challenges. The company is advancing an 800 VDC power supply architecture and megawatt-class power systems designed for the future needs of AI data centers with increasing density and power demands. The goal is to reduce power conversion complexity and support denser AI environments.

Higher compute density also necessitates a fundamental shift in thermal management. Compal is expanding its infrastructure portfolio with advanced liquid cooling technologies and megawatt-class cooling capacities. These solutions aim to ensure AI systems operate efficiently even with increasing rack density. The company is developing these technologies as interconnected elements within the AI factory.
