Confido Health Raises $12.5 Million for AI-Driven Healthcare Administration
AI healthtech startup Confido Health has secured $12.5 million in a Series A extension round, aiming to automate healthcare administration tasks using artificial intelligence.

US-based AI healthtech startup Confido Health has raised $12.5 million in a Series A extension funding round, led by Z47. This brings the company's total Series A funding to $22.5 million, with participation from existing investors Together Fund and Blume Ventures. Confido Health plans to use the new capital to expand its CareOS platform across healthcare organizations and develop AI agents for additional workflows and medical specialities.
Founded in 2022 by Chetan Reddy and Vichar Shroff, Confido Health develops AI agents designed to automate administrative tasks for healthcare providers. These tasks include patient calls, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, prescription refills, and payment collection. The CareOS platform integrates with over 50 healthcare systems, including electronic health records and billing platforms, enabling task automation without requiring the replacement of existing technology infrastructure.
The startup primarily targets healthcare groups operating across multiple sites, particularly those backed by private equity firms. Confido Health reports serving 3,200 providers across more than 1,500 sites in 27 US states. The company claims its AI agents handle over 95% of key end-to-end administrative workflows and add operational capacity equivalent to three to five full-time employees on average within three months.
The funding round occurs amid significant investor interest in AI applications within the healthcare sector. This includes administrative automation, patient guidance, and early disease detection, with several other AI-focused healthtech startups also securing funding recently.
