Configura and Troax enhance accessibility to warehouse safety products

Linköping, Sweden – Configura and Troax have launched a new CET Material Handling extension, building on their long-standing collaboration. The extension is designed to improve the sales process and ordering of Troax's mesh screens and partition systems, which are used for warehouse safety.

Troax's solutions are intended to prevent accidents by containing pallet spills or preventing goods from falling. The mesh-based systems allow light penetration and ventilation, crucial for areas like those requiring sprinkler systems. These products aim to enhance safety for personnel and protect operational processes, contributing to more efficient production environments.

"When a customer reaches out to use our products, we are not the most important piece of building their system... customers come to us after those primary products are in place. So, it’s very important that our ordering process is easy and straightforward," said Martin Ask, digital business developer for Troax. Configura's rules-based software automates the complexity of Troax's product configurations, aiming to reduce manual errors in design and quoting.

The partnership between Configura and Troax dates back to 1995. The new CET extension integrates product specifications, 3D renderings, material lists, and pricing, directly exporting to Troax's ERP system. This integration is expected to expedite quote generation and order processing, thereby improving efficiency for both Troax's sales teams and their customers.

This continued collaboration aims to make warehouse safety products more accessible to manufacturers and distributors in the material handling sector.
