Configura Launches Technical Reference Database for Developers

Configura has launched a new technical reference database at tech-ref.configura.com for its developers. The resource provides a comprehensive and searchable overview of the core, abstract, and other libraries within the CET software that are available to CM developers.

The database includes detailed information on available types, fields, methods, and attributes. All code-commented information is parsed and presented in markdown format, enhancing readability and comprehension.

Configura stated that ensuring stable URLs was a key objective. This design allows links to remain valid over time, enabling direct referencing from support articles. The company aims to improve documentation quality and usability as part of its long-term strategy.

The company welcomes feedback from developers on the new resource, while acknowledging some existing limitations such as a slightly clunky global search and bitfields that do not render correctly. This feedback will assist Configura in refining the database.
