Configura Updates CET Design Software with User Interface Enhancements

Linköping, Sweden – Configura has launched a significant update for its CET design software, version 15.5, focusing on improving the user interface (UI) to make navigation faster and more intuitive for commercial interior designers. The updated interface is now enabled by default, though users can revert to the classic interface during a transition period.

The update introduces a streamlined component tab bar that can be collapsed or expanded. Right-click options within the toolbar have been refined for quicker access to essential tools, and a dedicated "Share Feedback" option is now more prominently located on the title bar. These changes aim to enhance workflow efficiency.

The release also reintroduces the "Next to drawing" location option for automatic backups, simplifying file management for teams. The Material Explorer has been optimized for faster loading, with materials now organized into three tabs: CET Materials, Manufacturer Materials, and My Materials. Support for Customer's Own Materials (COMs) has been improved, allowing them to be saved as .gm files.

Configura emphasizes its ongoing commitment to user-centric improvements through regular updates. Recent enhancements include increased attachment limits in the feedback dialog, optimized translations, and improved navigation features. The Catalogue Downloader has also been refined for faster updates and now includes a progress indicator, reflecting the company's dedication to user satisfaction.
