Configura's CET Software Aids ITA Group Headquarters Renovation

Configura's CET Commercial Interiors (CET) software played a key role in the extensive renovation of ITA Group's headquarters, which was completed in June 2024. The project received recognition in the "Success Story" category at the 2024 Configura Awards.

The renovation, executed by Pigott, aimed to create a unified space for ITA Group's growing team, enhancing work efficiency and fostering collaboration. The project scope included 500 open workstations, 100 private offices, 30 collaboration zones, and multiple meeting and break rooms. A tight deadline required the project to start in October 2023 and conclude by June 2024.

Utilizing CET's "Block Replace" feature, designers efficiently transitioned from a basic 2D layout to detailed furniture placement. This allowed for easy addition and adjustment of task chairs, monitor arms, and storage solutions, accommodating design evolution in real-time. Weekly "Live Design" sessions with ITA Group facilitated continuous collaboration and immediate feedback, speeding up decision-making.

The "RevLink" functionality integrated architectural building shell data directly into the CET design, enabling clearer visualization for ITA Group. Realistic renderings were extensively used to communicate design concepts to ITA's staff, who were not specialists in furniture terminology. This visual approach ensured alignment between the design and the final build.

Through CET, Pigott successfully delivered a functional and aesthetically pleasing headquarters for ITA Group that reflects its community spirit. The project highlighted CET's effectiveness and flexibility in meeting complex design challenges under demanding conditions.
