Configura's Walls Extension Update Streamlines Wall Design
Configura has released updates for its Walls Extension software, introducing features aimed at faster and more precise wall creation for design professionals.

Configura has released new enhancements to its Walls Extension software, designed to improve the speed and precision of wall design for architects, interior designers, and construction professionals. The updates aim to streamline the design workflow and reduce manual effort.
The latest version introduces a continuous wall drawing mode. This feature allows users to sketch entire wall layouts in a single process, eliminating the need for multiple clicks and tool selections. This is intended to significantly speed up the design process, especially for larger projects requiring extensive wall construction.
Precision in alignment has also been improved with the addition of reference lines. These lines enable walls to snap into place based on specific starting points, ensuring accurate placement. Users can control these "feature lines" through a quick properties box, offering flexibility and visual clarity when aligning walls to existing DWG files or other design references.
Additionally, a new black outline feature provides immediate visual feedback as walls are drawn, helping designers confirm placement and aesthetic integration. Configura states that these updates are focused on simplifying the design process, allowing users to concentrate more on creative aspects rather than technical execution.
