Connected Nation Aims for World Record to Expand Digital Skills

Connected Nation (CN), with lead collaborator AT&T and over 25 national and international organizations, is undertaking an attempt to set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title. The record is for the "longest live stream focused on internet literacy," aimed at expanding digital skills worldwide.

The event is scheduled for August 25, 2026, and will challenge participants to maintain continuous engagement throughout the stream to achieve the record duration. This initiative marks a significant global collaboration to address digital inclusion.

Through this global record attempt, CN and its partners aim to raise awareness about the importance of bridging the digital divide and provide resources to help individuals develop essential digital competencies.
