Smith's appointment follows a 16-year tenure with Conner Homes, where he began as a summer intern in 2010. He has since held various positions within the company's construction and land development departments.
He holds a degree in Construction Management from the University of Washington. His extensive experience within the company and the construction industry is expected to enhance operational efficiency and strategic oversight.
