Consideo hosts MODELER-CAMP 2010 user conference
Over 100 professionals gathered in Scharbeutz to discuss the application of modeling and simulation software in managing organizational complexity.
Consideo GmbH held its MODELER-CAMP 2010 user conference on May 6–7 in Scharbeutz, Germany. The event served as a platform for consultants and project managers to demonstrate how the Consideo MODELER software facilitates strategic planning, resource management, and process visualization in complex environments.
Keynote presentations included speakers from IBM, Munich Airport, and the German Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance. IBM’s Conny Dethloff discussed the use of business intelligence modeling to project future market outcomes. Christina Berghäuser of Munich Airport detailed how the software helped quantify the impact of management attitudes on employee satisfaction, while the Federal Office showcased the tool’s use in simulating disaster warning system scenarios.
Participants engaged in workshops covering balanced scorecards and open-space modeling, focusing on identifying factors that drive business success. The sessions emphasized transitioning from reactive planning to predictive simulation.
Consideo confirmed that the next user conference is scheduled for May 12–13, 2011, in Königstein near Frankfurt. The move to a larger venue reflects growing demand for the software, which is utilized by international organizations including the Asian Development Bank and BASF.
