Consideo launches national school simulation competition in Bavaria
Consideo GmbH has revived its national school simulation program, tasking students with managing a fictional state to teach sustainable decision-making.

Consideo GmbH has initiated a national simulation competition for schools, holding its regional kickoff in Miesbach, Bavaria, in late 2017. The program utilizes a tool developed by the company, 'Eine Zukunft für alle 2', which was created based on research projects conducted for the German Environment Agency.
Students participate by assuming roles as representatives of business, politics, media, and consumers. The simulation forces participants to navigate the dilemma of sustainable development, where the maximization of individual interests often conflicts with long-term collective goals. According to Consideo developer Franc Grimm, the simulation demonstrates that real progress can only be achieved through collaboration rather than independent, self-interested action.
Supported by local initiatives such as the GenE project in Munich, the competition aims to teach students the complexities of systemic interaction. Following the launch in Bavaria, the competition is structured to progress through regional and national levels.
